Louisiana at 80 m.p.h.

For the second week in a row I have been to Louisiana and have seen some GORGEOUS countryside. And for the second week in a row it has been a whirlwind trip with no stops.

There have been swamplands, fields full of corn, even sugarcane as far as the eye could see. There have been beautiful young people on vacation. There has been exotic wildlife that I have only ever seen in zoos or on TV.

I am currently trying to finagle another trip out of my manager for next week. If that happens, I will be able to go at my own pace. I will be able to schedule a few stops like the sugarcane factory, alligator farm, or the Metarie cemetary in New Orleans. Let’s just say it’s a good thing my bosses don’t read my blogs.
